Can you guys recommend me a spotting scope that I can use out to 100yds. I would like something that will make seeing the target easy but is not very expensive. I'm a college kid so I would like to buy this without spending a ton.

The little Winchester scope has worked fined for me for informal shooting at 100+ yds.  Can easily see .223 holes in the black at that range.  Paid $89 for mine--scope, hard case, and tripod. Not a spotting scope for the hard core purist, but worth the money as an interim or back-up.

Anything will work at 100 yards.

True. It's when you are trying to see those pesky 5.56 holes at 200 and especially 300 that the high end scopes shine.

We have a few of the Bushnell 15-45x Camo Spotting Scope Kit we did sale them for $349.95 but I will take $215.00 for them.  The kit comes with a tripod and a backpack case.

If you are an avid shooter, just low on cash (I still remember college, back when dinosaurs roamed the earth), buy the cheapest straight telescope/tripod combo you can find. You can likely find one at Walmart, etc. for under $50, maybe way under on sale. It won't be uber-chic but you can try it and return if it doesn't work, and get another cheap one that does.

I know this may sound crazy, but, as others stated, 100 yards is cake for almost any optic of 15-20x or more unless light conditions are very difficult, like near dark, etc.  If you like to shoot there will come a day when you want a good spotting scope. When you do, and money is available, you can get a good Kowa, Swarovski, Zeiss, etc. But - you won't be "buying twice", and when you junk the telescope, or pass it along to a kid without one, you can feel good two ways.

Will the cheap telescope see holes at 200 yards? Not likely, maybe .308, or bigger on a good day. 300, no way ever. But 100 will not be a problem, and 100 is where a lot of ranges stop anyway.

Having bought several "compromise" spotting scopes over the years, there is absolutely no substitute for having the one you really want.
