I was thinking of picking up a Trilux.  SUIT I think?  Look like a nice compact package for one of my carbines.  Any one running this set up on there carry handle?  Any info would be greatly apreciated.

I've heard they where decent, sturdy minute-of-man optics back then before the age of ACOG's and see-thru red-dots. It would probably be great for a retro build or a budget with quality build. I've contemplated htem, though for the price it either seems more prudent to get a decent red-dot (some are nearly 250-300, while the 100 or so ones make me leary of it being broken with no way to repair it). Also remember most will have illumination provided by a small LED since the glowing element in it couldn't be imported due to its radioactive nature (not that you couldn't just drop a vial of tritium in there in an acrylic setting from a night-sight replacement kit).

Had one for a while, then sold it as part of a trade.  It's not light at all, despite what it looks like in the photos.  It's built like the proverbial brick shithouse, and I found that it really unbalanced my rifle, and it's really rather tall, so mounting it on the carry handle is going to give you ferocious neck strain.  I say skip it - there's better options out there.
