How is the quality of TPS?  I'm looking to use some of their rings for my flattop with an M2 IOR 4x24.  Are there better options?

Im leaning towards the one piece mount for my scope, I have a set of TPS rings but even a Armalite mount will get you a better check weld and eye relief at almost the same cost.

Im not sure if the one piece mounts should be lapped like a set of rings but I like the idea of not putting any shear loading on a expensive scope and being able to remove the mount to clean the rifle if needed (that is if you use the larue.) $200 for a scope mount seems crazy but I dont want to mount my $500 scope in a set of rings might not be straight and you cant remove them without re-zeroing.

The IOR rings are great too, and they're around the same price as your average TPS rings, so it's really a matter of preference.

TPS rings are VERY good.
I like the fact they don't leave ring marks on my scope tubes.

I had some medium TPS TSR rings on a Nikon scope. Cheek weld sucked so I bought some low rings.
Took the rings off to replace....zero ring marks.
Price is right too.

This is the Nikon with medium TSR rings.
