I've got a PTR-91K (folding stock added) with a rail added to the top.  I'm wanting something for good close acquisition for SHTF and for occasionally popping deer in the yard (most shots under 150-200 yards).

I'm leaning towards an ACOG... I've got an EOTech on my M4 and love it, but want a little magnification yet still be able to do close quarters when necessary.

I do not own a PTR 91K, but read an article by Charlie Cutshaw about them. He is a certified Hk expert (and clones) and regarding optics choices,  he says:

For a scope we once again chose a Horus Vision, a new approach to tactical scopes that takes Mil-Dots into the 21st Century. Horus Vision scopes are available in either US. Optics, Schmidt & Bender, or Horus’ house optic. We chose to fit the PTR-91A1 with our favorite Horus Vision H25 tactical reticle.

Oh, and if LaRue makes a mount for it....... get that one.

The correct answer for any question regarding which mount to buy is: Larue Tactical.

For under 200 yards, a good choice would be one of the 1.5x16 or 2x20 Compact ACOGs and the Larue mount.

Enough magnification to see your target and still fast with good eye relief.
