| was wandering what every one thought of the nc star scopes? the one im thinking about is 6-24+50 mil dot illuminated reticle mark III. thanks for you're input. |
| Sad to say they are viewed as somewhat of a joke by most people I know and trust. Crooked reticules, sloppy adjustments, poor clarity, loss of zero etc. I'd take a pass. for an inexpensive but decent quality scope, look into the Burris Elite line. Im sure some others will have better alternatives as well. |

They are not the best, but they do work. And their customer service is pretty good. I bought one of their 4x ar15 scopes with handrail mount. When I got it the mount was bent, Called the company and had a new one free of charge in a week. That scope sat on my bushy for a year, and now on my 10/22 and still works fine. But yes their are much better |

I have one that came on a flat top upper in a trade and thought it would be ok for a while till i found something better. not - the focus is out at high zoom and the glass is not very clear and it doesn't realy hold zero perfectly and if you zoom past half way it realy goes off. i would not buy any cheap scope and would save up for a real one. my next one will be a leo vxlll but i'm still saving. to make a long story short don't waste your money on a cheap scope for a good gun. |
