First off welcome to AR15.com! A lot of the guys here like the LaRue and they are very good mounts. The ARMS 22 are very well made and I have not had a problem with them either. Here is a photo of the ARMS. $109.00 ![]() Here is a LaRue SPR $195.00 ![]() Mike @ CSGW www.csgunworks.com [email protected] Here’s some testimonials about CS GunWorks What do YOU have to say about CS GunWorks What Do You Think Of Cs Gunworks? It's hard to go wrong with LaRue! (They are not expensive. The hat and the 'dillo tool they send you costs $195, the mount is free..... If you don't want to spend that much, check out the Warne QD rings. They are quite good for the money. Just remember, there is more to putting optics on an AR than getting the scope height correct. Eye relief is a big issue. The LaRue mount takes this into account. If you go with rings, you may also need a cantilever/extender rail just to get the scope far enough forward. |

+100 for Larue mounts and equipment! I've traded off all my ARMS mounts for Larue ones. The ARMS mount got loose on my AR15 (not even a heavy recoiling rifle for petes sake!) and the awesome people at Larue (Mike) swapped it for one of their awesome pieces! I truly can't say enough outstanding things about the people or equipment @ Larue. |
I shoot NTCH and the only stand alone QD mounts that allow that on a non monolithic upper has been the Larues. If you have a monolithic upper or as MashBill stated a cantilever mount already, then this is not an issue, but if you do not you might need to consider that cost into your purchase as well. |
