Friends, I know this has been asked a million times before, but could someone give me suggestions for a Colt 16" M4? I'd like to hit minute of BG at MAX 250 yards. Thanks, Mark |

I have one of each that you mentioned, all serve a different role on various configurations. M4gery=Aimpoint But an Eotech will serve you well also, mostly personal preference. I prefer AP's over Eotechs. I have an Eotech on my 9mm SBR, and it fits that role very well, and was cheaper too, as I didnt need to buy any extra mounts or risers. This gun is purely a range toy. My ACOG is mounted on my RECCE build, and this gun was built for medium range precision work, so 4X magnification was a must. I would suggest you get your hands on an AP and an EO, and see which one you prefer. My vote is for the AP, the battery life is superior, and I also like just having the DOT over the EO DOT within a circle. YMMV. |
