About to go shoot my new AR with my 512 EOTech BUT.... I cant get the damn battery compartment open. What is the trick? I have had three people read directions and try ... Thanks

flip up lever and then remove it toward front of gun.... either a slight lift up or slide motion will should do it

yep, just got mine two days ago and I was confused also...pull harder...not on the lever but on the case, pull it straight back and up

That is one of the complaints about the eotech. Some people use a zip tie to get under the lever. HTH.

I sell these things, everytime I show someone the seal I also explain how to get the battery case off; it takes a lot of force to slide the compartment forward to break the seal, and while it may be a pain, you'll never get water in there

the levers on the newer units are bent for an easier time getting under the lever with your finger, the do also loosen up after some use

Yeah i cant get my damn battery compartment open either. the latch comes up easily but the case wont budge.

and my ARMS rear sight isnt fitting on my bushmaster upper.

This is soooo frustrating
