i just ordered the ARMS #40A to replace the HUGE factory sight on my DPMS .308 AP4. do any of you BUIS experts know if it will line up with my A2 front sight?? if not, what size post should i order to make it all work right?? anyone have this set-up?? thanks---john |

I would guess that you could go ahead and order the taller front sight post from Bushmaster. It was on my AR10 rather than a DPMS, but I tried an A2 FSB with a KAC 300m and had to use the taller FSP. I also had to crank it up almost to the top of the ears on the FSB to get on at 50yards. YMMV ETA: Just wondering...how did the original sight work? Was it designed secifically for the .308? If not and it worked you may not have to do anything. Any chance DPMS put the taller "F" marked FSB on your rifle at the factory? Just some random thoughts.... |
