did search and found nothing really refering to my prob. i had a ARMS #50 rail system but i sold it cause ARMS sucks, but anyways i mount my #40 on the flat top and when firing, i get groups to the right of the center. the groups are nice and tight but i just cant get it to shoot center. i mess with the sight itself with the little knobs and sh1t but i still get a group to the right. anyone have this problem? with my factory rear sight its ok, its just that #40. manufacturer problem?? any help apprecitated. if you are going to write something stupid dont bother. ~KGB |
Sounds like you need to turn the windage so that the rear sight moves to the left--quite a bit. basically--adjust your windage until it is correct. ARMS do not suck unless you got the first lemon I have heard of. |
| well i messed with the windage and i actually moved it all the way to the left, it helps a little bit but my grouping is still a bit right of the target, my friend had the same problem. i dont have this with my factory rear sight, so i dont think there is anything wrong with the rifle itself. i could be doing something wrong, but ive shot over and over and still cant get sh!t out of that sight. im going to go shoot in a hour so i will see. |

What is your logic in saying that ARMS sucks yet you are asking about the #40 which suggests you still retain it for use on your "weapon". ARMS basher are a dime a dozen here and we need not have another. If you feel your product is defective, email or call ARMS direct to solve your problem. Here are a few questions; If you prefer the LMT BUIS, then why are you not selling the #40 on EE? If you feel the #40 is defective, will you take $20.00 for it? Do you know how to adjust the #40 for proper windage? Have you checked you AR FSB/barrel to see if it is canted? You said you did a search. I too did a search and found four entries that address your issue, and no I will not do the leg work for you. Abiding by your request, none of my reply is "stupid" in nature.

didnt log on for a long time. name is just a dumb name
-i switch from different rear sights all the time. i find that its not that great. ARMS does suck, ive used their products before and found that they are crappy compared with other stuff on the market. -dont want to sell yet -no -yes -will check -finally, work slave, work. |
Well, I can't knock your opinion and I thank you for sharing. I'm on the opposite end of the ARMS debate. I like ARMS sights and the SIR. I have several and they have never failed me, however they are not everyones cup of tea. You are however 100% right about the LMT BUIS. They are one of the best. |
hey at least there is one thing that we have in common. i personally find the sir system to bulky, not as adaptable, and that it seems to have to many parts (literally the attachment of the system). i found that the bolts got loose to quick and that i spent to much time messing with it after a day of shooting. im more into the mrp system, and a number of others. ive had better luck with them. |
