OK, this might be kinda a FNG queston but I have to ask to possibly avoid spending way to much money on the wrong mount. I have an Eotech 512 that I would like to mount to an A2 upper. Does anyone make a base that will allow me to co-witness this with my A2 sights or am I jsut SOL here? Any help would be great. Thanks in advance. PS I tried looking throuh the tacked threads but nothing really answered this question for me. |

I have an A2 with the same problem. I used a Surefire rail setup and a YHM Eotech mount. It co-witnesses perfectly. I used a little blue loctitie on the rail set screws and on the mount. I know some folk say that setup it not that stable, but I just finished a 3 day carbine class with the setup with zero problems.
