Can anyone tell me their experience with any of these optics?
www.bushnell.com/general/riflescopes_holosight.cfm?section=General%20Use
Are they quality or just knockoffs?  I would not be using them on a duty weapon, but do want something durable for real world use.

I have seen the reviews in here and they are made by EOTech. People say it's good for shooting target and would get the EOTech for shooting bad people . For a few hundred more, I would get the EOTech since my live is at stake.

What about the crazy Star Wars looking one?

I am also interested in the Bushnell Holosight XLP.

Any personal experiences out there?

And, as asked above, what is the difference between the "regular" XLP and the one that is up on a frame? See link above. Is it just on a riser or is there some other difference?

I may get one to play with on my AR and AK (which has a weaver mount).

Any info on these would be appreciated.

The one on a mount is for 870 shotguns.  From what Ive seen the sight picture is a little smaller and even the a rep at bushnell told me the xlp wouldn't be recommended for use on a "heavier duty rifle".

What rifles do you think he was intending to include in that "heavy duty" category?

I'd put the optic on a AR and Saiga AK. Neither kicks much. I'd hope it could stand up to those. Maybe I should call the company before ordering one.

Anybody try one on a rifle yet?

Thanks
