| Want to scope my Bushmaster Carbine, but I'm concerned about the front sight blocking the sight picture. if I elevate the centerline above the front sight, will the sight blur out and show a clear target picture or do I have to remove it completely? Really don't want to go thru that if I can avoid it. Thanks. |

It depends. If you have a 1 or 2 power scope, it will be visible and if the FSB is above the centerline of the scope, the FSB will interfere with the crosshairs . If your scope is 4x or better you probably will not even see it and you won't notice any degradation in optical clarity. If you put a very high quality hig magnification scope on it, the obstruction in front of the objective will reduce the resolution whether it is above or below centerline. In that case it is best to remove the FSB. |
