I just bought a new 552 and noticed the reticle seems to be fuzzy and not as sharp as I had seen on others.
Is it supposed to be a clear, sharp red circle with a sharp dot in the center right ?
Are there any adjustments other than brightness that would fix this ?

no, they are fuzzy.  Turn down the brightness, look at the target, not the recticle, and it will sharpen.

You're supposed to look 'through' the reticle, at the target.  If you focus on the reticle, as a hologram it will be fuzzy.

This needs to be a sticky......

OR, maybe we can get EOTECH to include the answer to this on the instructions they include with each sight....

BUT, that won't help....WE Don't read instructions!

Okay then, just give the link to AR15.com then.....

I agree with ya.

Not too many people recognize what the CIB badge is, yet I do. Most respectfully an honor that is only earned through combat.

Thanks Phoebus

Well hail oh hail the Cavalry...
The Queen of Battle Follow me...
The Cavalry life's the life for me...

Never mind.  Definitely the most envied decoration in the whole Army...the CIB.  My CVC is off to any man that has one.

Back to the issue:  Yes, we need a sticky on EOTECH's fuzzy red slippers and...focus on target, not the reticle.

And keep both eyes OPEN!

Everytime I see someone look through one for the first time, they always close one eye.

Did I hear someone mention CAV?

+1 on EOTech focus issue. As already covered, both eyes open, intensity not too high, focus on the target not the reticle.

An astigmatism can also cause reticle fuzziness.
