archive.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=18&t=253934 I have one on my .45ACP AR. Works well, but definitely needs Loctite on the screws for the mounts. |
| yes i noticed it is in the archive.... could somebody post it to me?... thinking this is the only site i have seen where you have to pay for archives.... otherwise a very nice place. dont really want to spend $25 year because i want to read one article.... i would be more inclined to donate it it wasnt a requirement.... i donate to other sites... |
You can afford a $1000 rifle but you can't spend $25 to support the best place to get information to help you? You have access to three months of searchable records already. That's a lot for free. Membership isn't a requirement. |
I don't think it's ever been posted. From my recollection, they are made in Korea. There has been some debate whether or not they are identicial to a Burris XTS-135 (which retails for about $50 more and doesn't come with a mount), but the consensus seemed to be that the Burris has better glass and better waterproofing. Whether or not they are made in the same plant by the same company to a different set of specs, I don't know. I also recall that the ADCO units that are sold by Dillon are the same as the SPOT. Others can chime in if I've misrepresented what's been discussed about these prior. ADCO Sight Burris Link |
sir... i dont need your sarcasm.... i asked a simple question. if i had to spend $25 on every site i liked i wouldnt have my rifle. actually you are the first rude person i have come across here... i guess they are everywhere. |
I guess I just don't take kindly to folks who want the community to help them out but aren't willing to contribute. That sense of entitlement is one of the biggest problems with our society. I'll go ahead and give you the text so you can be sated. Maybe this preview will entice to to try contributing. If you want the images, too bad. Oh, and as an aside, you might want to look up the definition of "sarcasm". I wasn't sarcastic in the least. I was completely straightforward with how I feel about people who whine about the cost of membership. ---pasted text below--- <edited out> Nevermind, you don't need it with your attitude. |
How was this rude ? You are asking for a paying member to copy the info in the archives for you. A bit unethical don't you think ? Mike |
sir i surley didnt mean to get in a squabble with you i just signed up i think this is my 5 th post... do you buy into something before trying it out? i stated that this was the first informational BB i have been too that charges to get into the archive... i asked for some information about an article i would like to read. i didnt realize i was breaking any rules (if i was) and i never said i wouldnt support the site i do support a few others. i simply asked if someone could supply the info from one article......and yes i do know the definition of sarcasm ... and your last post verified your sarcasm.... here you read it i am now an X member here... 2. a sharply ironical taunt; sneering or cutting remark: a review full of sarcasms.
