Is that too big of a dot for precise shooting? I'm trying to make a decision on a scope.

For what distance ??????????

6 moa @ 100 yards is 6 inches !
@ 50 yards it is 3 inches !
@ 25 yards it is 1.5 inches !

I was looking at a nikon red dot scope for a patrol rifle. For qualification we only shoot out to 50 yards.

I would not go any bigger than 3MOA
