Is it possible to retrofit an older Holosight to look like a more modern Eotech?

I have a mint condition original model that has seen some serious shelf time.

Does anyone make a Eotech style hood?

Sell it and buy an EOTech. You get way more than "just a hood". You get longer battery life, better controls, improved water resistance, etc.

The eotech has got to be the cheapest tactical optic in production right now. $350 is a pretty good deal, you don't even need a mount for it.

I bet you could sell it for $175-200 easily and be well on your way to a new EOTech. Too bad you missed the EOTech group buy, the prices were nuts (not sure if it's kosher to post them).

I asked this a long time ago and I bought one after I relized it was more than just a hood
