Ok.  I read the BIG BAD BUIS thread and many other posts, and have narrowed down my choice to the Troy or the ARMS 40L.

I am building an M4gery cut down with Phantom permanently attached, Carbine length Larue FF handguard, Standard front sight post and RRA lower with 2 stage trigger.  At this point I am looking at putting an Aimpoint on it for an optic, but may switch to an Eotech.  I have never used either as this will be my first carbine.  I want a low flip up rear sight, so I can have the option of adding a higher powered optic in the future.

Which one would be better with my current configuration????

Will one work better than the other with the standard front sight post???

I am leaning towards the Troy, because of its positive lock in the upright position, but I am not completely sold yet.

Thanks for any and all assistance.

They both will work great but I like the TROY more!

We have both in stock.

Both the Troy and ARMS #40L were designed to work with the same front sight.  They also both collapse to about the same height too.

I'd go with the Troy because of the locking feature.  Also, there is no torsion spring that could break or wear out as used in the ARMS BUIS.

Well, the guy that is building my upper carries the Troy sight, So I told him to go ahead and throw a black one on for me.

Thanks for the replies.
