Finishing up an SPR clone (exact clone, that is) and now it needs a scope.  The obvious choice is the 3x9 MR/T to match the gun, but spending a grand on a scope that will only be of real use on a 5.56 is suddenly appearing to be wastful to me.  If I go with a larger scope, I can use it for .308 also. So....MR/T or LR/T?  What do you guys think?

I own an MR/T and it is a nice setup. But I have an LR/T as well, and would suggest the LR/T since you may use it on a 7.62mm platform too. And you could always send the LR/T in to the Leupold Custom Shop and get custom BDC cams for the 5.56mm.

Hi

Here is a Leupold LR/T Mark 4 3.5-10x40mm LR/T M2 Dark Earth Illum. TMR.  These scope were going to go to the ARMY but because of the color was a little off the ARMY would have rejected them so they sent them to us.  These scopes have not been mounted or used in anyway.  This scope would normally sale for $1369.99 but we are offering them for $1100.00 shipped! This scope was going to be use for the SAS Rifle program.

I love this scope the glass is great, love the 1/2moa turret, and the color gives it a nice tactical feel.
