I have an aimpoint ML2 - 2x, arms 22m68 mount. flat top colt car A-3 H-bar elite. Tried to sight in today. First group was way high! After a box of bullets and numerous adjustments I have it shooting where I am aiming, But the red dot is in the top 1/4 to 1/3 of the scope. How can I bring the dot down to the center of the scope? Thanks Paul

You could put a spacer in your 22M68.

The aimpoint is parallax free, so just move your head down. If it's uncomfortable, get a spacer like Sent suggested. I find my aimpoint much more comfortable with a high mount.

If your using a Flat top set up then get a GG&G or Larue Cantilever mount that brings up your aimpoint.  The aimpoints are about centered from the company and you may just need to change your elevation.  Remember when your mounting your rifle bring it to your eye not the other way around.

I set up my Aimpoint with the GG&G cantilever ring and I only had to adjust 6 clicks down on the elevation.  I was Zeroing at 50 yards but first started at 25 yards which is your intersection.  At 25 yards aim dead center and the rounds should be just below about a inch this is what you want.  Then move to 50 yards and it should be right on and if not then fine tune your adjustments.

Thanks to all who responed. I am going to buy a spacer for the 22M68. It sounds like that will be the fix!

Get the angled spacer that holds the Aimpoint farther forward. It makes shooting with both eyes open much easier and faster.

ETA: oops! never mind. The 22M68 has the angled spacer.
