i just put an eotech on my rifle. i will be going this weekend to zero it in. when i look through the eotech now, i notice the recticle moves up down/left right depending where i rest my cheek on the buttstock and if my nose comes closer or farther from the charging handle. how do i correctly zero it in? i feel if i zero it, the POI will change depending on where my head position. im not sure if this question is making any sense to you guys reading it. i would appreciate some opinions on how to correctly zero it and if it matters that the recticle moves based upon where i rest my cheeck on the buttstock, MODS: if this is in the wrong section i apologize in advance. please feel free to move |
Go try it out on a range w/ a 50yd line, and zero it point-of-aim = point-of-impact. Then, take some pop-shots with different cheek-welds, et al, and you'll be quite happy. |
