Looking for advice from anyone using the ARMS #35 Rings. I'm trying to install a Horus Vision (30mm tube diameter) scope into the aforementioned rings. I started with a rough fitting tightening (finger tight) all top ring screws equally. Without torquing them down to any specification there is ~ a 1/16 to 1/32 inch gap on each side. What am I doing incorrectly? What are the torque specifications (I'm used to 15 in/lbs with my former rings)? Is there a torqueing sequence (torque left side first then follow with right - expect a gap of "x" on right side)? I've already called ARMS - they asked me to send in pics. I was hoping to get a quicker response via the Oracle of knowledge in this forum.

Thanks in advance,

There should be a gap.  And 15 in/lbs is good.  Just tighten alternating sides and front/rear.  Don't do one to 15 in/lbs and then the others.  Sneak up on it.
