Shopping for a flip up BUIS to mate up with my 511 EO and found a MADS BUIS

Any experience out there with em??

The MAD has four apertures, two of each size. The small aperture is 0.073 inch in diameter and the large aperture is 0.199 inch in diameter. One click of the windage knob provides approximately 0.48 MOA change when mounted on the M16A2E4 rifle and about 0.65 MOA on the M4 carbine.

I'm partial to the Troy BUISs, but I picked up one of these used a while back in EE and like it very much.  I put it on my 18" Colt flat-top to back-up an EOTech and have no complaints -- if I see another good deal on one I'll jump on it.

I have one, even if it works, I think I'd prefer either Troy or KAC 300M.  Mine's always canted, no matter which receiver I put it on, I know I have a lemon
The reason I wouldn't like it even if it was on straight is because the flip up portion, it's big.  KAC's 300M has a thin stalk, the MAD's is akin to punching a hole on a dime and looking through the hole.  But I guess that's the price for having multiple apertures.

I've used them consistently since 2004 & I'm a big fan. They are thin & looooooow when stored. Mine have all sat perfectly level, no cant issues at all

You can store them with either aperature selected which is impossible with many of the popular BUIS's. Finally, switching apps is easy even with gloves - either way you turn the apperature disc results in the next size being selected. IMO they are top notch.

I'm considering going to MAD's front and rear w/ the tritium inserts in september.

Here's one mounted:
