I once had an eotech that i had to send back twice because it had defective adjustment shafts, so they now have sent me a brand new sight. So now according to thier sight the Eotech has 80 moa of adjustment from far left to right and 80 moa from extreme bottom to extreme top. No when i adjust it from extreme to extreme i get 80moa from top to bottom but 160 moa from side to side. What is the deal this is the second sight i have recieved like this. THere must be something else going on or i must be the unlucky winner of the QC lottery so often spoke of around here. The reason i am concerned is this i recently went out to zero my sight in at 50m and i adjusted it accoding to the 80moa top to bottom and 160moa side to side and i would not print on paper. I took the sight off and used irons and i instantly was on paper. THere are a couple of questions i have regarding the eotech and the adjustments. when adjusting the elevation i get a abrupt stop from the adjustment wheel so i stop. Then i start in the other direction until i get an abrupt stop. Doing this i get a 80moa calculation. Doing the same thing for windage except it just gets a little harder as you go until it feels like the adjustment wheel is stuck. The difference in opposing force from the sight adjuustment wheel is so little you can hardly tell there is a difference. On both sights they both have done the same thing with the windage. 160moa. Is there a new change for the Rev. F and it just isn't documented on the website???? Or do you think there is something up as this has happened with both sights right out of the box. I think either something has changed or i am the unlucky winner of a QC lottery. I just find it odd that both sights have the same problems and also on both sights the elevation adjustment feels nice and strong and you get a audible click in each direction however on the windage adjustment it just feels sloppy and you do not get an audible click in both directions. Help me, this thing is driving me crazy I like it but it is almost too much hasle to deal with, if this cant be fixed relative easily i may be switching to aimpoint. |
