| Last weekend I took my AR out for some shooting. No probs with the scope. Then I bump fired a mag from the hip. Today I take it out and the scope is all fuzzy. I mess with it (read bang on it) a little and it clears up, then goes fuzzy, then kind of does this half fuzzy, half clear thing. Now it just kinda goes in and out. Very weird. Just a typical Bushnell 1-4x 30mm scope, nothing fancy. Anyone knows why this happened or if it can be fixed? Think that bump fire killed it? |
| Well I finally just took the damn thing apart - it is cheap, after all. A little lens on the inside had come loose and was shifting around. The set screw that holds it in place is impossible to tighten from inside the scope. Dammit! I liked that scope. Anyway could I get it fixed or is it even worth it? |
Until you took it apart, they probably would have covered it under warrenty... I thnk now you are on your own. BSW |

AINT THERE GAS IN SOME SCOPES Bushnel makes GREAT SCOPES I sent mine in to get coated and they lost it They sent me alot better scope than I had to start with Send it to them cross your Fingers Keep proof of sending scope incase it gets lost like mine DID Back in the 80`s I bought a SIMMONS 3x9x40 CheapY I put it on my 222rem Bolt Action wich is almost like a 223rem but has a longer neck with the scope/Rifle I could shoot 1/4 inch Groups at 100 yards So you dont have to spend 600 bucks for a ACCURATE scope |
