No experience whatsoever with red dot sights Wife wants one but wants to know more.
A4 16'' upper carbine .

When sighting in just where should the dot be ?

Is the same cheek to weld important or can you move your head around and still hit what you are aiming at ?

All I can think of for the moment. Oh yes she will be useing a riser mount and BUIS for back up sights.

Thanks.

No red dot is completely paralax free so for zeroing purposes I still like to center the dot in the optic, generally the paralax error will be roughly 3/4 the size of your dot.

I would also recommend zeroing at 50m or roughly 1 inch low @ 25m
