I couldn't find it on their homepage or any site that sells them. I would certainly hope for that quality of scope they are.

I just called them and you are correct. They are not 1st plane and they use japanese optics.Really suprised about the 1st focal plane since they use a mil dot type of reticle which is only accurate for range estimation at one magnification which you have to know.
Guess its back to the drawing board for me since I can't see spending that kind of money for 2nd plane optics.

If you want a FFP scope at a great price, check out the IOR 2.5x10 FFP Illuminated MP-8.

Thats not quite the power range I was interested in but I have looked at it. Its also not an illuminated reticle.
Thats a custom order scope according to SWFA all the rest of the IOR's are 2nd plane.
I may have to go the route of a less expensive scope as I don't see what I am getting for my money other than they are heavier and more durable....but so are IOR.

Call IOR directly, I got mine directly from IOR for $720 and it is illuminated.  They also had some 4x14 FFP illuminated MP-8 reticle, but I  don't know if they have any more.  IOR and Nightforce are pretty much on the same league, IMHO.
