I think I 'MIGHT' go with the SS 10X.

(i know, Call Larue).

Is the SPR / M4 Scope Mount QD (LT104)  a good choice for a mount, will the scope clear my YHM FF rail?

or do I need the SPR-E??

Definitely a Larue; something in the shape of an LT104 mount:

However, that would probably require you to swap the FSB for a low profile gas block, but I can't recommend anything better.

That's what I was wondering. Will the LT104 put the crosshair at the same height as the irons (2.6" above the bore). If so, there won't be a problem.

The LaRue SPR mount is a great mount there are other mounts that I can recommend for the SS if price is an issue.

Too many Toys, Not enough Weapons....

Mike, I think I'm looking for the ARMS 35QD with 35 High Rings?
Question. Does this put the crosshair at the same height as the normal sights? Or higher? Allow 42mm objective will clear rail/handguard?

If possible, I'd like the scope at 2.6 over bore.....(same stockweld as 552, irons, etc) a little higher is ok.

I picked up getting a 'Free' RRA? one piece mount for a 1" tube. It sits way forward to get the proper eye relief. It's actually out on the FF rail.

Is that gonna werk? Would this induce possible zero errors?

Looks kinda dorky.

An offset mount may have to be included in the Budget....

A rings mount like that is the one I would have recommended if you were on a budget.  As for it returning to zero they do ok.  If you can use a Torque Wrench to put it back on then it will go back to zero, but I do not recommend taking it on and off.  For a lost cost mount they are nice.

Here is a PM067A
