| Has anyone ever tried the nightforce unimount out? If so how did you like it? |
Nightforce makes great scope and rings.![]() Mike @ CSGW www.csgunworks.com [email protected] Here’s some testimonials about CS GunWorks for AR15 Board What do YOU have to say about CS GunWorks |
Their catalog says it is held to such tight tolerances and it still needed lapping? Shouldn't need that espically for 250 bucks. Since I can't find the GG&G mount I want I was considering one of these if they come in a 20moa version but maybe I will have to look at something else. |
The instructions that came with it even said that it needed to be lapped. Naturally, I tried to install the scope (3.5-15x NXS) before reading the instructions and discovered on my own that the rings needed to be lapped. It's a good solid mount, but I personally will stick with Larue in the future. Out of all the mounts I've tried (Larue, Armalite, Nightforce, RRA) Larue is my hands down favorite. I really like Larue's vertical ring design and I like that I can get more eye relief than the others if I need it with Larue mounts (not needing to lap the rings is a bonus). |
Their site doesn't mention any cant in the SPR. SPR-E mounts. Guess I will shoot em an email and see. I already have one of the SPR mounts on one of my AR15s but I am too lazy to dig it out of the back of the safe to measure. |
Thanks for the info. I really don't need a QD mount on my AR10 and orginally wanted a GG&G 20moa rail and badger rings but no such luck on the rail as it has been discontinued. Second choice was he LaRue MK 11 but as my luck goes they don't have any either. Choices are getting slim now. |
They come in a 1.125" and 1.375" w/ the 20moa. Mike @ CSGW www.csgunworks.com [email protected] Here’s some testimonials about CS GunWorks for AR15 Board What do YOU have to say about CS GunWorks |
