If your really wanting that particular optic check WalMart. They go for about $30, made in China.

I didnt say that I wanted it, I am just trying to identify it. I worked for Aimpoint for a few years so I am pretty well set on optics for myself, I am just trying to help a friend that still works there identify the manufacturer of this paticular optic.

So, the Chinese copy Aimpoints and now Aimpoint wants to copy the Chinese!

Off topic since you worked at Aimpoint, maybe you know:

I have two ML2’s, a new model and an older model I bought used off the E n’ E. With a fresh battery installed in both optics and both optics simultaneously turned on to the same brightness level, the older ML2 dot is weaker than the newer ML2’s dot. Could leaving the optic continuously on degrade the diode over time?

I emailed Aimpoint customer service but all they said was install new batteries, which of course was the first thing I did upon receipt of the used ML2.

I doubt that it has anything to do with the diode, it is most likely in the switch, if one of the wires are not soldered on correctly it could cause the dot to be weak, I think that a new switch would solve your problems. I will IM some contacts to you from Aimpoint, I would just keep hammering them until they fix it, the sight has a 10 year warranty and for what they cost it should work right.

Thanks got the IM's.

Back to the scope, looks identical to the one Bushmaster sells, guess it's made by Leatherwood.
