Hi this is my first post on this great forum.
I have been shooting for alot of years but never with an ar.
I bought a Bushy A-3 20 and a Eotech 512,Then I mounted the eotech to the flat top and noticed that I have co-wittness.
I not sure if I kike the absolute co-wittness and I am thinking about a riser.
What Im looking for is some advice on what riser to use and how far to mount the eotech to my rifle.
Is the Larue woth $119.00 or will the Yankee Hill do the same for $39.00
I will like to put a BUIS Arms #40 and I was wondering it would fir on the Larue .
Any sugestions would be helpful.
Thank You

The ARMS #40 don't mount on the EOTech LaRue mount, it stays on the flat-top and the Larue mount will move your irons into the lower third of the EO glass......

Welcome aboard,

Mike

ETA - here's a pic of the ARMS #40 and EO w/ Larue:

Big plus one on the Larue mount, you won't be dissapointed in that one.  I just purchased my second one because I liked the first one so much

As for mounting it, it's pretty simple.  The mount has one slot for the Eotech screw, so you cannot move the sight to another location on the mount.  As for putting it on your upper, just make sure you have enough room to move the slide over the throw lever and mount it as close as possible to the BUIS.  The front of the mount has a ball type detent that you'll need to make sure is on a rail.
Once you get your hands on it, it's pretty simple to figure out

I'll see if I can find a pic of it to explain it a bit further...

Here it is from the Larue web site

Looks I was wrong on the slots for the Eotech screw, this one shows 2, oh well.  The throw lever on the newest version has a slide over the lever, that locks the throw lever to the mount so it cannot be accidentally be opened.

ETA:  Sorry, would have been edited sooner, but had a meeting with my boss

Well I ordered the LaRue mount for my Eotech off the EE from www.globaltactical.com-Dennys Guns.
I spoke with Denny and he was very informative and understanding to me being a new AR Shooter.
All I have to do is get a rear sight.

I jut got my other LT110 in today, the pic above is close, but not like the one you will receive.  It has 3 slots for the Eotech screw now!  Although, the last slot there is no way you can get the eotech in it, but what a sweet mount it is!
