Does anyone know where to find thermal scopes?, prefferably the color kind not just FLIR, though FLIR would be fine if thats all thats available, prefferably for LESS than the cost of a new car.... Also can these see through walls?.... How about cameras instead, monocularars, or goggles instead?.... |

I'd like to know too, last I looked into it I believe a version small enough to be weapon mounted won't have any "color" to it, just good ole shades of gray thermal image. I don't think you can touch one for the cost of a new Civic anytime soon. Last time I used one was during a fire drill aboard USS Duluth LPD6, it sure was cool to see the images of people when all you would normally otherwise see was smoke. This was about 10 years ago and that unit ran in the 100k range. |
