[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Aimpoint CompML2/ML3 ring question

Can someone recommend a decent cost effective 30mm ring that will work with the sight(s)? I'm not a big fan of the standard Aimpoint rings. I haven't tried the XWIDE's though (if they even fit the ML's). I also don't want to spend $100 on the QR yet. I was thinking of the Burris Xtreme Tactical 30mm low. I should mention that I have the RRA entry tactical with the tac carry handle. I just want a decent ring to mount it for awhile until I can replace with a mount and BUIS. Comments? Thanks in advance.

Try the Aimpoint 30mm X-wide Picatinny 10818 ring. For around $25 it should hold you over till you get what you want.

Do it right the first time and purchase a LaRue it may cost alittle more, but it will save you money in the long run.

I'm not impressed with the Larue stuff to be honest. I would go with an ARMS mount.
