Team, I picked up a Bushmaster M-4 this weekend. It is a fixed carry handle version w/ A2 sights. I would like to mount an ACOG on her. I have found a pretty good deal on a "NSN" model. This one is designed for the M-4. Unfortunately it comes with a mount for a flattop. Is it possible to mount to the carry handle somehow? is there anything additionally I would need? Would a cheekpiece be recommended to line up the sight? Thanks for the help! |
A) It will mount to the carry handle if you like and would not need a cheek-piece attachment to use it B) The NSN is designed for flat-tops (but will work either way) For carry handles, no mount needed. Take off the TA51 (if thats what it came with) The ACOG will screw directly to the two holes in the top of the CH edit Good call on the scope, and congratulations on the combo!! |
