I'm currently in Afghanistan & a friend of mine sent me his Springfield Armory 4x14x40mm Scope (for 5.56mm). Can someone tell me what size Butler Creek flip covers I need for this scope?

I did several Google searches & didn't come up with anything.

ETA: Called Springfield, they were NO help.  Only recited the obvious that the obj was 40m/m and the eye was 35m/m.  That is NOT the required infomation to properly size the covers since the size of the tube at those points is what is required.  Will try more. Stand by (behind cover).

Thanks for the information, but unfortunately it was the same stuff I found in my Google search. I'm back to square 1 & still need to know which size to get.
