I'd trust it in a real gunfight. But probably with an illuminated version... still kicking myself for that. I got the optic for about $540 on ebay... and it's spectacular for the price, overengineered at pretty much every turn. It can take a beating and helped me paste a good 2" group at 200 yards (basically confirming it as a basic MOA optic). The glass is very clear, thank the german Schott company for that... The reticle pattern is very crisp at all magnifications and ranges wonderfully using two meters instead of 6 feet, not a big difference, but it screwed with my math at first. I can only ask for a better pattern to verify a "hold", as it does not have any horizontal reticle lines at the bottom of the pattern. For this I would probably use an MP8 pattern reticle. Dialing clicks to come up for ranges are very positive-feeling and leave no second-guessing like mushy dials do. A very positive experience with IOR so far. ...but that's the opinion of some dude on the internet

I'd like to give a big thanks to cpt. canuck for letting me try out some of his optics (including the Aimpoint, EOTech, and ABSOLUTELY cool ACOG!) on my Benelli M4 this weekend. Boy, that Meopta's reticle is small unlit......... At least the NF and IOR's have some bold to them to be able to pickup if the batteries are toast. |

More photos, showing the different options and whatnot. Haven't been to the range with this thing yet, I just bought it thismorning. Anyway here are four more shots showing the "full range" of the Mark 4 CQ/T. 1x and 3x mag photos, each with no illum and full illum. Use your imagination as to the brightness settings between "full" and "none". :) Sorry if the photographs aren't as sharp as they could be. Negative. You need to look through one. The pictures does not justify how clear and bright the reticle actually is. |

OKO 4 MOA red dot looking over an A.R.M.S. #40A2 in the down position. The OKO lined up with the front sight actually makes a pretty good expedient BUIS. Co-witness with the small aperture.

Here is some I took tonite at 8:20pm with some future victims. I saw one he was HUGE, I am waiting for him to come back tomorrow before I kill any. I dont want to spook them off yet. These rats have been showing up during day light, DUMMIES. The scope is a Leupold Mark 4 4.5X14X50 with standard duplex hairs.
