Thining of purchasing an eotech 512. I plan on mounting on my flat top will i need a riser mount to clear the front sight?

Mount directly onto your receiver. Most people (including SOCOM) believe the EOTech sits to low. See how you like it and then look for a riser.

I don't mean to jack your thread or anything, but I was curious if Grant would know if an AimPoint Twist Mount would mount and fit ok on that LaRue mount as pictured in the photo....right behind the EOTech?  Thanks!
