I went to a large gunshow in St. Paul this past weekend and was bartering with DPMS on an Aimpoint ML2.  The sales manager stated he'd sell one to me for $325 NIB.  I had the cash out and we check the stacked boxes of Aimpoints and he didn't bring any ML2s along.

So I start haggling on an ML3 2MOA that he's got and he says he'll do $375.  I really hadn't priced ML3s so I just left and "forgot" to go back because I wasn't going to buy something I hadn't researched.

My questions are:

1.  I know the $325 was a good price but how was the $375 for the ML3?

2.  What exactly is the difference between the two other than the 4MOA and 2MOA "dots"?

Thanks for any info,
Scott

$375 out the door is pretty good. The going rate is about $400. The ML3 has five times the battery life of the ML2. It would be worth the extra $50 to me.
