I just ordered an ARMS #2. We’ll see how it is. I’m sure I’ll post pics when I’m done. I’m mounting an Aimpoint Comp ML2 on my lightweight CAR carry handle with the ARMS #2 and an Aimpoint X-wide 30mm low mount.

Get the ARMS #2.

THe cheap ones generally do not have any kind of locking mechanism and will rattle loose after several rounds.  THe ARMS has a built in lock washer that keeps it tight.

Just curious...did you consider an ARMS #16A?  It should sit lower than the #2 with 30mm rings and the ring is built into the mount.

Yes I did consider the #16. But from pictures I’ve seen of Aimpoints mounted using the #16 they appeared to sit higher than using the #2.

I recently mounted an Aimpoint clone to my sons .22 AR carry handle using  a knock off ARMS #2 mount and I like how low it sits on the handle.
