I noticed the other day that my mount was shifting back and forth on the flat top.  Is this a common problem with ARMS? or even a problem at all?  I would think that any movement of the scope mount would be detrimental to accuracy.

Why use ARMS anyway? Don't you know babies will die and terrorists will roam the streets without fear if you do?

Make sure to use blue loctite and tighten the screw down properly. You should not have a problem with the buis. I have several and they do not move around.

That is not normal with any of the #40's I have used.

It sounds to me like the crossbar is not screwed into the sight enough. Remove the nut and the little clamp bar that holds the sight on the rail and make sure the crossbar (square rod with two round threaded ends) is screwed far enough into the little clamping bar so that it will tighten securely to the receiver.

I bet that will fix it.

You may have the crossbar in backwards. One end is threded more than the other. The "long" end is the end the nut screws on.
