I've had an Aimpont ML2 for a while. A buddy of mine likes it so well he wants my entire setup(LaRue Mount, ML2, Arms Flip up BUIS site) on his Bushmaster. Don't ask me why because I told him the exact same thing could be ordered for him. So I'm considering it but looking at various options again before saying yes or no to him. I will use a LaRue mount for sure but I considering going to the Troy folding Rear site. 1.)I considering the ML3 as a replacement to the ML2. For those using the new ML3, have you found the small dot slowing you down for close work? 2.)Would you consider the EoTech 512 Rev F sight in a LaRue mount as rugged as the Aimpoint? There is nobody local to me with the EoTech sight. All I've seen is what has been posted on this site and others. I like the big circle with small dot concept. I know the battery life is shorter. Are there any other minuses when comparing it to the Aimpoint? |
