I did a search for an Aimpoint FAQ and came up with nothing so here go some noob questions I have regarding the Aimpoint M3. 1) Which of the adjustment knobs is for windage and which is for elevation (my are labeled UP-L and UP-R)? 2) My lens covers go up and to the left(10 o’clock position), I was wondering if I can rotate them to go straight up(12 o’clock position) with out damaging the optic. 3) Where can I get the zeroing procedures for an Aimpoint? Thanks, Marco |

1. The knob on top is for elevation and the one on the side is for windage. The way they are marked has something to do with the fact you can mount it so one knob faces right or one faces left. 2. You can turn the lens covers wherever you want. 3. I would and did zero mine at 50 yards while sighting in the BUIS on my M4. Aaron |

I take it you didn't try looking for Aimpoint's website, eh? Aimpoint has the manual for the "M" series on-line in PDF format. Here's a link: Aimpoint M2 Manual Suitable for printing.
