I am debating between the ARMS 40 or the 40L model. What are the advantages and disadvantages of each model. No one around my area carries them, so I have no references to go from. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

The 40 is a great BUIS, and the L is basically the same sight that is lower profile. Both are windage adjustable. The L model deploys to the peep sight while the regular 40 deploys to the ghost ring apeture.

CFII hit it.  If you're planning on running a red dot, get the 40.  The 40L would be much more at home with conventional optics, like on a SPR clone.
