| Larue spr or badger mounts. I'm asking since I'm trying to decide whether to go with the larue or get badger's with g&g's gs-1 rail. I don't plan on mounting a buis system so quick detach or permanent doesn't matter. its going to be a vx3 4.5-14x50 that's going to live on the racks. |

What are you mounting it on? On a flattop AR, you'll have trouble getting the right eye relief - so the SPR would be better. Overall, the Badger rings are indestrucible. The LaRue is a solid piece, but it would break before the badgers. I own both, and a set of Leupold Mark IV's. Love them all, but you can't compare an aluminum piece like the LaRue to solid steel rings like the Badger and Mark IV's. That said, any of them would be strong enough for anything you are doing. THey are all designed for the miltitary enviroment. If you are going to add a g&g rail, then I would just go with the LaRue. KISS |
