Why the hell is night vision so damned expensive? Even a Gen 2 PVS14 is going for around $1800-$2500.....with Gen 3 almost another $1000!

What's a poor working-man supposed to do?

Maybe because it's expensive to make.    Couple that with a war putting a lot of demand on the supply, and there ya go.   Yes, you would think the older gens wouldn't go up much, but they do

What's a poor working man to do?   Stop buying Lapp Dances.

I found this the other day.  I don't know anything about them, but the cheapest one is $449.00.

Where did you see a Gen 2 PVS 14? I am not saying they don't exsist as someone could have built one. I would be REALLY curios to know what tube they used.

As for night vision prices going up BOY you ain't kidding get it while you can and $3000.00 or more might seem like a lot but with some good savings plans it can be done fairly quick (year or so).

I know i'm comparing apples to oranges but I am having one heck of a time getting mine sold on this site. AMT 200 = $300.  It works great for shooting skunks and coyotes at night.  Oh well.  Someday when my ship comes in I will have one of the $3000 jobs.
