I know this is the "n" battery nv model,,,,, my friend wanted to know if it took the same cr123 batteries as his surefire lights,,,,,

I told him I don't know, as I have a 552 AA model....

what can I tell him?

N batteries are not CR123 batteries ....

They might look a little bit alike, but they are not the same.
