| I just picked up a ML2 and on the lowest two power settings the dot is not visible to the naked eye (even in total darkness). I can see them just fine with NV on. Is it susposed to be that way or are my eyes just FUBAR? I thought they werent NV compatiable. It is marked as ML2 4 moa dot. |
They are all like this. C4 |

I thought the same thing when I got mine. It took me about 45 seconds in total darkness (of my bathroom) to be able to see the dot on the lowest setting. Even then it doesn't look like anything more that a very very faint dot. I don't have NVG's buy I know i saw it. I usually don't go passed the 5th position anyway on my ML2. But that's just me I guess. -Chris |

I wasn't sure if it was my eyes or the sight. I tried to see it in a totaly blacked out room and could not see the dot at all on the first two settings. I tried 3 different (new) batteries in it all with the same results. Looking through my NVG (ANPVS-14D) I can see the dot fine. The second setting has a little bit of a halo (not enough to be distracting, just noticable) but the first setting is spot on. I picked up this sight as a back up sight and or for the FAL project. Kinda cool that it works with NV saves buying another M2 when the FAL is done. Thanks, Joe |

I've got both the M2 & ML2. Even though the ML2 will work with NV it does not do it as well as the M2. I only meant that I was suprised that it worked with NV at all. I wont be removing the M2 off my duty rifle and if the M2 breaks the ML2 will only be on it until My M2 is repaired or replaced. Supertrucker - If your not going to run NV IMO I'd get the ML2.
