Hi all, I am mounting a Holosight (without metal hood) on various rifles and would like a QD mount for it. It may be mounted on various rifles, AR15, CETME, FAL and do not need the rear sight. If you can suggest various options and especially if you have used one yourself. Thanks Mark |

You have one choice, that I know of: LaRue. LaRue makes a short rail (forgot the name) that mounts to your flattop or railed handguard with a throw lever (levers?). Your Holosight or EOTech mounts on top of it. The mount raises the sight approx. 1/4" above the host rail. RRA makes the Dominator mount, but it has a built-in rear iron sight, which you said you don't need. From what I've read, the new GG&G Accucam only works with EOTech models that have the protective hood, so this won't work for you either. HtH. |
