Does anyone know the center to base height of the Leupold Super high mounting rings? In other words, are these tall enough to allow a Nightforce 56 mm objective lens scope to fit properly on a flat top AR10 with a four rail floating handguard? FWIW, the outside diameter of this objective is 2.4", so the base to center must be in excess of 1.2". I can't seem to locate a ring measurement on Leupolds' site.

1.4" ACCORDING TO BROWNELL'S.

WITH CONVENTIONAL RINGS LIKE THIS MOUNTED DIRECTLY TO THE RECEIVER, THE HEIGHT IS GOOD BUT THE EYE REIEF IS INSUFFICIENT FOR MOST USERS WITH ALL BUT THE LEUPOLD MR/T. SEE BELOW:

THAT'S WHY LARUE MADE THE SPR SCOPE MOUNT:

The super high are 0.9 inches tall from the bottom of the scope to the rail mounting surface.  They yield a LOS thru the optic about 1.4 inches above the rail.

If also using an Arms rail adapter, the Leupold High rings(.5 in. tall) work out to the same LOS height.  Bsquare and RRA mounts put the scope slightly higher, by maybe another .2 or .3 in., IIRC.  HTH.
