a few motnhs ago I posted a question about why there is only on bearing pushing back on the rear sight...That got answered. Thanks. New question: My rear sight is almost cranked all the way to the left for 300 yds center mass. I would like to be able to get it more to the center. Replace? Thoughts? TIA, Chris. |

The rear sight being cranked all the way to one side or the other is likely due to the front sight and/or the barrel assembly being canted. If it's the barrel being canted in the receiver, there are relatively painless fixes for that. If your FSB is canted on your barrel, that is a pretty painful process to fix on your own and professional help would be recommended. Another option is this: Is this a factory rifle? There may be a warranty program that could address this problem, also. |
